Enterprise Training for Claims Adjusters
The need for skilled claims adjusters and insurance staff members has never been higher. Our training is focused on meeting the full range of requirements necessary to a successful property adjuster. We currently have no courses on the public schedule; however, if you are interested in scheduling classroom training at your site please let us know. This is an instructor-led course which gives students a thorough understanding of adjusting water losses. In this course students will learn how to apply the basics of scoping and estimating to large and complex water losses. They will be exposed to TPA file requirements including written correspondence such as activity logs, denial and settlement letters and reports. They will make the transition from estimator to adjuster, capable of handling the entire claim including investigation, settlement of ALL coverages and recovery, if applicable. Instruction will be provided by MindCross instructors and industry recognized experts to enhance their learning experience and retention. Policy interpretation and applicable statues and case law will be reviewed. In addition, case studies will be used to reinforce training content.

This is an advance level course for which adjusters will receive 10 credit hours for CE Adjuster Optional credits in Florida and reciprocal states.
Catastrophe Adjusting Refresher
This two day classroom training is for those who want a thorough review of all the information an adjuster needs to know about adjusting wind-related catastrophes. The instructor will walk through the process of adjusting using a case study approach. Students will have the opportunity to refresh their knowledge on all aspects of catastrophe adjusting, the homeowners policy, scoping and inspecting, and much more. This will be an action-packed couple of days.

This is an intermediate level course where adjusters will receive 10 credit hours in Adjuster Optional credits in Florida and reciprocal states.
Developing Skills and Techniques for Catastrophe Adjusting
This intensive five day course is an entry level course that includes, hands-on workshops and in-depth classroom presentation. Using this combination, students can immediately apply the skills they've been taught in a controlled, measured environment and will be able to produce consistent estimates as a result of scoping in our lab environment. We offer different courses using both Xactimate and IntegriClaim.

This course is eligible for CE credits.
This is a beginners level course where adjusters will receive 24 credit hours for CE Adjuster Optional credits in Florida and reciprocal states.
Effective Writing for Claims Professionals
This course helps improve the organization, wording, persuasiveness, tone, and format of documents written by claims (property/casualty, life/health, workers' compensation), underwriting, and loss control professionals. This intimate one-day workshop helps build participants' skills and confidence by reviewing actual insurance documents, participating in exercises, and exploring topics such as getting started, organizing information, and polishing tone and persuasiveness. All participants are given access to our Writing Hotline for one year and to our fax and e-mail services for one month following the course.

This is an advanced level course where adjusters will receive 10 credit hours for CE Adjuster Optional credits in Florida and reciprocal states.
This is an instructor-led course that will show claims examiners and file reviewers all the necessary steps required to successfully, effectively, and accurately examine claim files. The analysis of the claim files we will be working with will be for first party claims. The course will cover all the common adjuster reports and will use case studies to show you the exact process used on the job. Our case studies will include claims for wind losses, fire losses, and water losses.

This is an intermediate level course where adjusters will receive 4 credit hours for CE Adjuster Optional credits in Florida and reciprocal states.
Field Adjusting with Xactimate
This course is for a 2 day class. This focused training will allow you to work directly with our instructor and claims adjuster on using the current version of Xactimate. The class includes lecture along with workshops and case studies used to reinforce the material. The courses goal is to maximize an adjusters knowledge and effectiveness using Xactimate. By the end of the training session adjusters will be familiar with and able to use all of the most common tools needed to complete their claims. Students will have plenty of hands-on time using our new computer lab with the latest version of Xactimate installed and ready to go.

This is an intermediate level course where adjusters will receive 10 credit hours for CE Adjuster Optional credits in Florida and reciprocal states.
Homeowners Policy Interpretation
This one day course will teach you how to interpret the standard homeowners policy. It will walk you through a step-by-step process of reading the policy and understanding what coverages should be included in a loss.

This is an intermediate level course where adjusters will receive 1 credit hour in Law & Policy and 5 credit hours in Adjuster Optional in Florida and reciprocal states.
This is a instructor-led course which gives students a thorough understanding of the Wind Policy. The focus of this course will be understanding the intricacies of the wind policy and how it differs from the HO3 policy. Wind Policies are required for certain properties along the Florida coast and other coastal states in the U.S.

This is an advanced level course where adjusters will receive 6 credit hours for CE Adjuster Optional credits in Florida and reciprocal states.
